The days are getting shorter, the summer’s almost over, and it’s about time to load up the OttoMObile for a Great American Roadtrip. These days that’s Mark Wayne Minnick thumpin the drums. Been making lots of music on the porches, honkytonks, rodeos, divebars, national forests, backyard throwdowns, breweries, and brewfests of Southern Indiana. Been wielding the pedalsteel for Lexi Len & the Strangers, the Gus Moon Band, plus TVMike & the Scarecrowes. Been working on my swing in these farm leagues. Been booking shows from Bloomington to San Francisco and back. Lookin’ forward to seeing all the friends that have spread themselves out so nicely. Lookin’ forward to throwin Connor and Elliott into the mix for the West Coast shows, and lookin forward to seeing a whole lotta country.
